Privacy Policy

Nenso (“we”, “us”) is a private space for couples and families to remember and organise their shared life. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it. The data controller is Aetheris Ventures GmbH, Schwändeli 1, 6318 Walchwil, Switzerland (“Aetheris”). For any privacy matter, contact privacy@nenso.app.
What we collect
- Account data: your email, name, and the optional profile details you choose to add — a profile photo, your colour, a WhatsApp number, a home city.
- Content you create: calendar events, plans, tasks, lists, notes & ideas, trips, activities, family entries, photos, comments, reactions and milestone dates — shared within your circle.
- Billing data: subscription status and a customer reference held by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your full card details.
- Technical data: what’s needed to keep you signed in and the service running — session tokens, and (if you enable notifications) a push subscription for your device. Error reports may include technical context (browser, page) but are configured to exclude personal content.
How we use it
To provide the service, keep your circle’s data in sync, send the notifications you’ve enabled, process subscriptions, fix errors, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who can see your data
Your content is visible only to the members of your circle. We enforce this at the database level, so one circle cannot access another’s data. Items you mark “private” are visible only to you.
Where your data lives
Your database content and photos are stored in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). Emails we send you are dispatched from the EU (Ireland).
Processors we rely on
- Supabase — database, authentication and file storage (EU region).
- Vercel — application hosting and cookieless, aggregate usage analytics.
- Stripe — subscription billing and payments.
- Resend — transactional email delivery (EU region).
- Google — only if you choose “Continue with Google” to sign in.
- Sentry — error monitoring, configured to exclude personal content.
Each processes data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Cookies & analytics
We use only what’s essential to keep you signed in. Our usage analytics are cookieless and aggregate — no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no profiles.
Your rights (GDPR / Swiss FADP)
- Access & portability: download a copy of your data anytime from Settings → “Download my data”.
- Erasure: delete your account from Settings; this permanently removes your personal data (see Terms for how shared circle content is handled).
- Correction: edit your profile and content directly in the app.
- Complaint: you may contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or your local data-protection authority.
Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed promptly; limited records may be retained where required by law (e.g. billing records).
